Business Objects Expands Deployment of Appfluent Software

Appfluent Non-Disruptively Monitors and Analyzes Business Objects’ Worldwide BI/ Data Warehouse Environment; Increases Agility and Responsiveness of Business Objects’ IT Teams

Appfluent supports Business Objects’ worldwide business intelligence and data warehousing systems, which are deployed on Business Objects XIR2 and process an average of more than 500,000 queries per day.

• Where and what to tune for optimal reporting performance and ensure SLAs are met - For example Appfluent’s software identified the Business Objects User ID, Report Name and database column/table usage associated with queries that were running 23 times per minute, and at one point ran for 36 hours averaging a return of 3 billion rows.

• Ways to reduce TCO and improve performance - For example, Appfluent’s software determined that 17 of the top 25 most frequent queries were executing hundreds of times with zero returned results. Appfluent detailed which users, reports and database information were associated with these queries.
