HyperRoll and Appfluent Create Alliance to Improve
Data Warehouse System Performance

Combined Technologies Identify and Fix Data Warehouse
Performance Challenges

Mountain View, CA – February 7, 2007 - HyperRoll, the leading provider of data warehouse query acceleration software for business intelligence (BI) applications, and Appfluent Technology, the leading provider of enterprise BI and data warehouse management software, today announced a collaboration agreement to jointly market and sell HyperRoll's patented data aggregation technology with Appfluent's software for usage activity and performance analysis.

Under the terms of the agreement, HyperRoll will offer a version of its product that supports the Appfluent product suite. Together, Appfluent and HyperRoll will market the HyperRoll product to each company's customers. HyperRoll will provide Appfluent customers with improved database query performance for large scale user communities where Appfluent's technology analyzes performance challenges. Appfluent will provide to HyperRoll's customers the opportunity to better understand the range of performance challenges represented in their Business Intelligence deployments. With this partnership, the two companies join each others' Partner Programs.

Appfluent's product suite correlates user activity, data usage and query performance and provides actionable insight for maximizing application and database performance and increasing efficiency in managing enterprise data in both test and production environments. When applied alongside the Appfluent environment, HyperRoll accelerates query response times for aggregate analysis. HyperRoll enables BI and data warehouse managers with the means to address performance bottlenecks uncovered by Appfluent software.
