Position: Quality Assurance Tester

Educational Level: BS/BA degree or equivalent

Job Descriptions:

As an Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for testing software products that are designed for large enterprises, primarily Fortune 1000 companies.

Specific Duties:

• Develop and implement test plans for a database monitoring product
• Work with development engineers to write automated tests of low-level system components
• Work with development engineers and sales engineers to design, integrate and test new reports using Apache Tomcat and third party tools such as SAP Business Objects, IBM Cognos, Oracle BI and Microstrategy
• Help maintain the test infrastructure of Solaris, Linux, AIX, HP-UX and Windows machines running Oracle, DB2, Teradata and SQL Server

Qualifications:

• Five years or more of related work experience as an quality assurance and testing of complex database systems
• Technical skills in relational databases.  Oracle, DB2, Teradata or SQL Server required
• Scripting, Java, C++, or C programming background a plus
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organizational skills
